Lincoln- Nebraska women’s basketball took a bit of a hit this week as forward Isabelle Bourne is heading back to her native county of Australia instead of playing a fifth season for the Huskers. Bourne made her announcement on social media this week. The 6’2 forward was a reliable contributor the last four years for the Huskers helping the squad to the third round of the WNIT this spring. Bourne finished with more than 1,200 points to rank 22nd on the all time scoring list for the Huskers. It was hoped she would come back for a fifth season but foreign players are not allowed to receive NIL money.
