Delores Ann Milbourn, 81, of Lincoln

Delores Ann Milbourn, 81, of Lincoln passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 21, 2022, after a progressive battle with dementia.

Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (8-25-22) at Christ Lincoln, 4325 Sumner Street. Service was livestreamed at https://boxcast.tv/view/august-25-2022-sanctuary-funeral-k7lz25gdxrdnhg141tjb.

Interment was at 3:30 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, Lexington, NE.

Visitation and refreshments were held one hour prior to service time.

Dee was born on June 8, 1941, to Paul and Ann (Roper) Phillippi in Lexington, Nebraska. She graduated from Lexington Senior High School in 1959. After graduation, Dee landed her first job with the Rural Electric Association in Lexington.

While in high school, she met Leroy Milbourn and they wed on June 12, 1965, going on to have two children, Michael and Cory. Dee especially enjoyed her two grandchildren, Seth and Resa.
Dee served her extended family, church, and friends throughout her life. She enjoyed improving her home, entertaining, and baking the favorite things of those she loved.

Dee is survived by her sons Michael (Sharon) Milbourn and Cory (Gloria) Milbourn; grandchildren Seth and Resa Milbourn; brothers Duane (Jan) Phillippi and Gene (Mary) Phillippi; sister Barbara Sloboth; sister-in-law Lavonne (Richard) Smith; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Leroy, brother Larry Phillippi, sister-in-law Barbara Phillippi, brothers-in-law John Sloboth and Johnny Milbourn.

Memorials may be given to Christ Lincoln Church or Comfort Dog Ministry.
