Gwen J. Schroder, age 89

A funeral service for Gwen J. Schroder was held Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:30
a.m. at the Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, Colorado.

Gwen J. Schroder, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2022 at St Anthony’s
North Hospital, in Westminster, Colorado. Gwen was born March 24, 1933 in Holdrege,
Nebraska to Lloyd and Edna Hollenbeck. She was the sixth of eight children.

She was married to Duane (Ted) Schroder on November 5, 1951. Ted preceded her in death in 1974.

Gwen is survived by their three children and their spouses. Janice & Keith McClellan,
Duane (Ed) & Jayme Schroder, Bonnie & Steve Crockett; one sister, Claudia Philips
(Bertrand, Nebraska), who came to live with them at age 10, and was raised by Gwen and
Ted.

She leaves behind seven grandchildren: Amy & Rob Galvan, Casey McClellan & Greg
Foro, Ted & Mandy McClellan, Jesse Crockett, Jarrett & Natalie Crockett, Duane (Eddie)
Schroder and Jordyn Schroder.

Gwen also has six great grandchildren: Alyssa, Ethan, Jack,
Evelyn, Hank and Nash.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
