Haymakers Win Colby Invite

Colby-It was quite the weekend for the Cozad Wrestling team as the Haymakers claimed the title at the Colby Duals Invitational. Cozad went undefeated winning over Colby 42-27 and 48-31 over Monarch, Colorado. They also topped Holly, Kansas 60-15 and they beat Hutchinson 45-24. Cozad also posted wins over Pine Creek Colorado and they defeated Junction City Kansas 43-27. Head Coach Derek Hammerlun talks about the weekend with KRVN’s Jayson Jorgensen.

Cozad is scheduled to be back in action on Tuesday with a dual against Holdrege.
