Limp Brisket takes top honors at Oconto BBQ

OCONTO – Rain couldn’t put a damper on the fun Saturday during the Oconto Fire Department’s annual Blowin’ The Doors Off BBQ.

Limp Brisket took top overall honors in the competition with their specialty, smoked armadillo. They also took first place for best pulled pork, beans and pork ribs, as well as third place for best sauce.

10-4 BBQ took first for their sauce while Buk-N-Pig was named the best brisket. Eight grill masters took part in this year’s competition.

Borderline and South Loup Sunrise provided live music throughout the evening.
