The female drove on State Farm Road and her boyfriend drove in front of her crashing the side of her car. The female told him she was calling the police and the boyfriend fled into a cornfield.
Several Deputies and State Troopers responded to the cornfield and surrounded it. A State Trooper was able to locate an area of interest in the field by using a Drone. Deputies and a State Trooper K-9 Unit approached the area of the field, and a male subject came out.
The male subject was identified as forty-three-year-old Kenneth Johnston of Lamar, NE. Mr. Johnston was arrested and placed in the Lincoln County Detention Center. Mr. Johnston was charged with Third Degree Domestic Assault and Criminal Mischief to the female’s car.
