Lincoln, Neb. — An inmate who went missing for three months from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) is back in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS).
37 year old Richard Reynolds was arrested Wednesday by the Council Bluffs Police Department on new charges. He was booked into the Pottawattamie County Jail in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Reynolds disappeared on December 1, 2022, when he left his work location in Waverly.
He started his sentence in December 2017. He was sentenced to seven and a half years to 13 years on charges out of Adams and Lancaster counties that include use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, third degree domestic assault, assaulting a peace officer, escape and theft by unlawful taking.
Reynolds has a tentative release date of January 24, 2024.
