UPLAND, NE – Franklin County Deputies were called to a residence located on South Inland in Upland, Nebraska on Tuesday (11/22) at 12:11pm.
According to the sheriff’s office press release it was a disturbance with the possibility of shots fired. While deputies were in route another report of shots fired was received. A request for assistance from the Nebraska State Patrol was made by the sheriff’s office.
Upon arrival, deputies were able to make contact with a female subject who was removed from the scene to safety. According to the press release at about 2pm a male suspect exited the residence and was taken into custody.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, Hildreth Police Department and Franklin Police Department responded to the scene.
At this time charges are pending. Franklin County Sheriff’s office will release further information once it is available.
