Plans for Gov-elect Pillen’s Inaugural Ball announced

    “Day by day, Better & Better” is the theme of Inaugural Ball of Governor-elect Jim Pillen.   The theme is a nod to a portion from the Husker Prayer that states ‘Day by day, we get better and better, ’til we can’t be beat. Won’t be beat.’”

    The Inaugural Ball will be held on Saturday January 7th, 2022 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.  It begins at 5:30pm with a Cocktail Reception followed by Dinner and Program.   The evening will conclude with a dance, who’s name has not been announced yet.

     Gov-elect Pillen says the Husker Prayer resonates deeply within him in part from a lesson taught to him by Coach Tom Osborne that “We never stay the same. Every day, we can either get a little better, or get a little worse.”
