Powerball jackpot grows to $700 Million for Saturday

     Saturday night’s Powerball jackpot will be $700 Million or $375.7 million with the cash option selected. This is the 6th largest jackpot in the history of the game.  There have been 32 consecutive Powerball drawings since November 21, 2022, without a jackpot winner. This run has grown the estimated jackpot for the Saturday, February 4 drawing to $700 million or $375.7 million with the cash option selected. This is the 6th largest jackpot in the history of the game.

    This jackpot run has produced three big Powerball winners in Nebraska.

    December 3, 2022: $50,000 winning ticket sold at Valley Foods Cooperative in Lynch

December 24, 2022: $50,000 winning ticket sold at Bakers in Omaha

January 7, 2023: $50,000 winning ticket sold at Pump & Pantry in Grand Island

    Ten jackpots ranging from $2.5 million to $365 million have been won in Nebraska since the Nebraska Lottery began offering Powerball in July of 1994. The largest Powerball jackpot won in Nebraska occurred in February 2006 when a group of eight coworkers at the ConAgra Foods ham and corned beef plant in Lincoln split a $365 million jackpot.
