DENVER (KDVR) — State. Sen Brittany Petterson is competing for a role to represent Coloradans on the national level in the 7th Congressional District. Meanwhile, Colorado Republicans are battling for control at the state Capitol.
This week on “Colorado Point of View,” we sit down with Petterson, who is taking on Republican Army veteran Erik Aadland this November.
On top of the economy and inflation, Pettersen said one of her top priorities if elected to Congress is democratic reform, including voter rights.
Also this week, we take a look at the battle for power at the Colorado Capitol, where Democrats have held the governor’s office, the state Senate and the state House of Representatives since 2019.
Watch the full interview with Petterson and hear more on the battle for the Capitol in the full episode of “Colorado Point of View” in the video player above.
“Colorado Point of View” airs every Sunday at 7:30 a.m. on Colorado’s Very Own Channel 2.
