U.S. gasoline price decreases

The U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline fell to $4.19 a gallon on Monday. That’s down
13.8 cents from a week ago, based on the weekly price survey by the U.S. Energy Information
Administration (EIA).

Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at $5.16 a gallon, down 10.7 cents from a
week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at $3.69 a gallon, down 13.8 cents.

According to the EIA, the U.S. average retail price for on-highway diesel fuel fell to $5.14 a gallon on Monday. That’s down 13 cents from a week ago.

The average price of a gallon of regular on Monday in Nebraska was $4.01, down nearly 19 cents from one week ago, according to Triple A.
